The biggest cause of dental problems is the formation of plaque and tartar. Periodontal disease is the most common dental disease. This involves the gums, teeth and cavity. Plaque promotes the growth of pathogenic bacteria, which can cause inflammation of the gums. This inflammation is the main cause of bad breath. Plaque must be removed daily, otherwise it will react with lime in the saliva and form tartar. Tartar will develop inflammation further down the gums until the teeth loosen.

Dental plaque promotes the growth of harmful bacteria and can lead to periodontal disease. It also causes red, inflamed gums that bleed easily and can reduce appetite. When dental plaque reacts with calcium in the saliva it creates tartar. Tartar presents as a yellow-brown layer of discolouration on the teeth. Instructions

Brush teeth with a pet toothbrush once daily (without toothpaste). Shake before use. Spray lightly once or twice a day into the mouth. Use a pipette if preferred. For best results, ensure tartar is first removed by a vet. Always consult a vet if in doubt or symptoms persist.
